The Swans of Singapore Botanic Gardens

I have always wanted to have a look at the Black swans at the Eco-Lake located at SBG because I was told that they were imported from Australia! WOW! But unfortunately they are non-native, that means they are introduce or release. Since they are here in Singapore, why not have a look at them.

White swan or mute swan (Cygnus olor) @ swan lake (Thanks Ivan for e ID)

This is the one that I am wishing to see it! The Black Swan (Cygnus atratus) @ Eco-lake

The white swans belong to the species known as the mute swan (Cygnus olor). According to the Singapore Botanic Gardens website, their mute swans are imported from Amsterdam.
